ANMA Executive Committee Meeting
Thanks to Mr Gopendra Bhattrai and Ms. Anju Bhattrai for hosting the executive committee meeting at their residence. This is the first meeting of current executive committee.
Contribution made by ANMA for KIVA micro finance program in Nepal pays dividend
I am very happy to report to the general body of ANMA that the small contribution that ANMA made to set up a micro finance program in Patan, Nepal through Nepal Study center, brain child of Prof Alok Bohara has paid huge dividend. Nepal study Center based at University of New Mexico under stewardship of prof Alok Bohara was instrumental in getting kiva to set micro finance program in Nepal.
ANMA By-Laws Amendment - Proposal
The ANMA By-Laws amendment committee has proposed some changes to ANMA By-Laws. You can download and read the proposed changes by clicking on the link. ANMA executive committee is planning to approve the changes during its annual meeting in North Carolina during the convention. Please send in your suggestions/recommendations regarding the changes to ANMA President Mr. Mukesh Singh
ANMA past president and his wife give Nepal's orphans hope.
Many orphans in Nepal lack education, medical care and a home. But now, they've gained a glimmer of hope.

The Prahlad & Bindu Pant Orphans Foundation, a U.S.-based foundation, established with an endowment fund of $150,000 (one hundred and fifty thousand US dollars) aims to provide food, shelter and education to Nepal's poorest, parent-less children.
